Bpi Officership Training Program Otp Bank
Contributing to my 8-month hiatus from writing blogs was my 6-month Officership Training Program with BPI. I really wanted to resign next month from my current work even though I'm not yet accepted in the otp. I'm really longing for BPI's otp because I wanted to be trained as a bank officer. The bank's officership training is really a great platform that will harness their employees to bring out their very best in their respective fields. It was an awesome experience that I myself really enjoyed and I am proud that I have personally experience being an OTP graduate with the bank. Car plan for officers.
As I drive to work every morning, I tune in to my favorite stations and swing to the beat. I put my Rayban on during those extra sunny days and, on the other hand, enjoy the cold bed weather on those cloudy or rainy ones. I arrive in the branch roughly 15-20 minutes after leaving home. Branch operations commence. I meet all sorts of clients and enjoy being of service to them – especially when I see them smile after their transactions have been efficiently carried out.
It’s an extra treat when clients strike conversations with you and even starts to joke around with you. It lifts the tiredness you feel from the day’s work. Tik-tok5:30pm comes and I leave the branch. Most of the days, I have dinner with my one and only before going home. On some days, when I directly go home after work, I have dinner with the family and enjoy the primetime teleseryes of ABSCBN or a good cable show (like those on Food Network or Lifestyle Channel).
Hi jo, when will be the start of otp after your batch? I'm an otp applicant here in Davao. I'm just waiting for the panel interview after finishing the initial interviews and exam last June. I really wanted to resign next month from my current work even though I'm not yet accepted in the otp. I'm not happy with my present job as a bank staff and I see no progress whether I resign today, next week or next year.
I'm really longing for BPI's otp because I wanted to be trained as a bank officer. It's really my dream and hoping BPI will give me a chance.
So it doesn't follow na one batch lang every 6 months yong otp? Pwede pala mauna ang isang batch then after a month or 2, may bagong batch na naman?
I've been interviewed kasi last June 3, 2013 via skype and took the on line exam June 14 dito lang sa Davao. I asked the HR thru text last June 25 if I passed the exam and sabi nila they are just waiting for 2 more candidates sa Davao to take the exam before they will schedule us for panel interview. With that reply,I presumed that I passed the exam. July 23, I asked the HR again if may update ba and sabi nila they are just waiting for the availability of the Davao Area Business Director. I'm really hoping for it, though matagal pero I take into consideration na nagrereply talaga sila sa text ko so parang indication yon na may pag-asa, as far as I know hindi nagrereply yong BPI if medyo tagilid yong application mo.
May posting din sa internet regarding BPI OTP hiring, june 27 and aug 1. Akala ko yan yong susunod sa batch nyo, hindi pala jo.
Hmm not sure if from top schools lang hina-hire nila.pero i personally don't think so. Ang requirement nila is dapat with latin honors pag external hire na fresh graduate. In your case, honor graduate and a CPA pa.plus may previous banking experience.i believe you're very qualified.:) wala namang height requirement.:) yung sakin, i was hired the same day i passed my resume. Pero baka sinwerte lang ako nun.
Baka may need talaga for officers nung time na yun at nagkataon free din yung ABD. Alam ko, yung classmates ko waited a few weeks/months din para ma-interview.:) and you're very welcome! Would be glad to help you out anytime. Sorry natagalan ang reply ha. In general, the OTP is like going back to school.
You'll have to study banking laws, BPI's products (which are sooo many), go through OJT, finish a project and many more. On the brighter side, you get to meet amazing people in process. Like in our batch, a little more than half of our class were external hires (fresh grads or people from other companies). And the rest were internal hires (BPI staff already due for promotion to officership positions). We, external hires, were just like a crazy bunch of classmates while we treated our internally-hired classmates as our second mothers/ates/titas. Going through the modules is definitely not easy so we promised each other that we'll help each other out and that our class will graduate 100% (which we did:) ). Are you a fresh graduate? M Color 9 6 Keygens there.
OTP will not be easy for anyone that hasn't been a part of BPI (like me who didn't even have a BPI account before I joined the company). You'll have to invest hard work and determination. But of course, if everything plays out well, you'll be ok.:) If you want a challenging and enriching experience/career, please do join the OTP. Let me know if you have other questions. I was one of the applicants who were given a job offer for OTP on the job fair which transpired last Feb. 6, 2014 at BPI Davao Corporate Center.
I just would like to ask how long did it take you to be deployed in Manila for the training? I have already resigned from my job last March 11 and had my requirements already submitted but to my dismay, from that month hitherto, I still haven't got a call nor received any e-mail notification from them for the schedule of the training. I didn't know if it was their process that are sluggish or it was just me who was being impatient. I have searched FB and was sad to know that there were batches who were trained from that month onwards.
Everytime, I and my co-applicants inquire about the probable schedule for our OTP, we were always given the reply, 'gina-gather na namin ang batch nyo', which to me is okay. Pero, hanggan kailan kaya ito? I've been waiting for them since and had defied every urge to apply for another work because really believe in my heart that this is what I want and I don't want to exchange this opportunity for something that I only consider as second best. What makes me anxious all the more is that my co-applicants who were given a similar job offer have already given up on BPI.
I also fear that the internal employees will be given more priority over us external hirees. I am restless. What do you think Ms.
I will greatly appreciate your response to my query. Actually, I've already heard about this problem from other people hired in last Feb's job fair. I suggest you go to the area office to personally follow-up your application. I'm really sorry to hear about this 'slow' hiring process.not sure what's taking so long. During my time, i was supposed to be sent to Manila one week after the day I was hired.
But because of the long processing time in getting my NBI clearance, i was enlisted in the next batch instead. By the way, who said na 'ginagather pa ang batch niyo? Who did you ask? Try calling the people in the area office. They can better track your application. Actually, I've been doing follow-ups in the area office since March but unfortunately, they cannot give us any satisfying answer for the delay. Instead, the one in charge gave me the landline no.
Of the HR in Makati to refer my questions to them 'para din daw may peace of mind ako'. Just this month, May 22, I visited the area office and was shocked to know that there were already 2 persons who were phoned by the HR and is already bound for deployment this coming June 1 or 16. I must say you're so lucky during your time because you haven't waited too long. For me personally, I see no problem in waiting if they are to give us the specifics like, 'the batch this month is already full so you are to be enlisted next batch', or 'we have you included on the batch to be deployed this June'.
At least, we would not get be left wondering whether they revoked our job offer or what. Nevertheless, I would still be praying for their call. Hopefully, within the month there'll be any notifications. Jo, I'm about to ask; who told you that you are already bound for deployment? Were you phoned? Anne here in Davao told you so? The one who said that was a certain HR personnel in Makati whom I phoned a month ago.
Thank you so much for your response Ms. Jo:-) This is really a big help to me. Yes yes, will definitely do that tomorrow. Actually, I was thinking the same thing.
Hindi naman siguro cla magbibigay ng job offer kung hindi rin nman nla tatawagan right? I'll be keeping my fingers crossed on this.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get the answer that I need tomorrow. So help me God:) Hmmm. So that was the purpose of the email pala. Salamat talaga ng marami Ms.
One day, I'll be thanking you in person.:) God bless you! Patch 1 13 Diablo 2 Italiano Delite. I was looking for information on BPI's OTP and I found your blog. I just had the exam and I'm waiting for an interview schedule. In the event I pass the interviews, I'd like to have enough information on whether the program will also allow me to fulfill my other responsibilities.
May I know if there is a chance to take a leave during the program duration? In case I am privileged enough to join in July, I would like to know if I can still attend a one week retreat in late October which I have already scheduled. I am decided on attending it. Thank you and hoping for a response!
