Motorola Pc850 Driver Windows 8. (At least, that was the case on XP) If all else fails get yourself a cheap Edirol USB Midi interface for the laptop and use the CME's Midi port,.

The looks of this keyboard is also unmatched, It looks awesome! It has plenty of knobs, 8 * 2 banks and 8 sliders * 3 banks, one of which is used as drawbars for organ. The chunky transport buttons are easy to find when you need to stop your daw, but you'll have to program your daw to respond to cc#s 114-118 because it won't send mtc. The drawback is that rtz and rewind sent the same cc number.Lack of buttons and support is lacking except via a user forum. Summing up, this company makes a gorgeous, sturdy keyboard that would sell like hotcakes if they would include presets, a better editor, and any support.I spent a month trying to get it work like it should've out of the box, having to use midi ox to save sysex files as templates. They hadn't updated their editor for over a year and there wasn't anyway to update it's bios. These features or lack of and the fact that it had to be registered within 14 days, which I didn't find out until after that time elapsed made me have to return it. If you want a beautiful sturdy heavy keyboard and don't need support this ones for you.

If you need preset memories it's not. If you buy you need to register within 14 days. The feel and response of this keyboard is better than any others I have tried. It feels like an instrument, where as most others feel more like toys. The feel reminds me of a vintage rhodes.

The way it feels, plays, responds, and accurately captures my playing is perfect for the studio and performance. The only down side is that the drivers are a bit lacking and can be tedious to install, but the manufacturers website is in the constant process of updating and improving. So, there is hope. All and all, I would suggest this over the competition.
