Previously using a guillotine cutter for trimming their jobs, the shop immediately removed the bottleneck in their operation. The high production DC-745 removes white borders and prevents toner cracking at great speeds, and offers increased versatility to finish a wider range of digital color applications in a single pass. “Finishing business cards has gone from 20 minutes to 3 minutes per 1000 cards,” says Michael Oakes, production manager at Capitol Citicom.
“With plans to add the folder attachment (Integrated Folding System) when it becomes available, it will reduce the entire finishing process to a single step.
